stuck on apple logo. never used jailbreak. possible to fix without erasing everything from my iPhone 5s ??

My iPhone 5s is currently on a contract with Virgin Mobile.

My phone doesn't go past the white background with the apple logo.

Sometimes it flashes a complete blue screen.

I checked my serial code and apple says that my phone isn't eligible for a free change of battery.

I brought it within the time frame that they specified and never got my battery replaced before.

I've always had trouble backing up so it hasn't been backed up.

Is it possible to fix this without losing anything?

If I get my battery replaced would it wipe out everything??

Try holding the home and power button (no data will be lost)

It's on an infinite loop.

I've already tried holding the home and power button but it doesn't work.

It turns off but when I turn it back on it just stays on the apple logo.

I've also tried holding the home and power button then holding the volume up button like the youtube videos 😟

PS. My phone won't even sync and appear on itunes

Also on Virgin Mobile, also have iPhone 5S, also experiencing blue screen and reboot cycle.

Following this thread for solutions.

ITS SO HOT OUT. iOS 8.4 WAS A BAD CHOICE.

Went to the apple store today after making an appointment with the genius bar and they replaced my phone with a new one for me.

They opened the phone up and checked that water damage wasn't the cause and that no modifications were done to the phone.

After confirming that it wasn't my fault that the phone suddenly did that, they replaced it.

Good thing was it didn't take long and the person helping me was really nice.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to save the contents of my previous phone though.
