Why didn't I get a receipt for my in-app purchase?

I recently made an in-app purchase, but didn't receive what I purchased. I went to their support site, and they said to wait 24 hours and if it didn't show up, to send them a screenshot of my receipt. But I didn't get a receipt. Where is it?
