Q: unpaired phone  text messages appearing on watch

Messages from an unpaired phone are appearing on iWatch.  It's my son's phone, which is a part of our iCloud account.

All settings on both devices have been check to make sure that messages are only received for his number on his device.

Suggestions for fix would be appreciated! Thanks
