Uploading Raw Photos from Canon 5 D Mark 3 to iphoto 8.1.2 in a Mac Desktop Mac X OS 10.6.8

It does the uploading them all & then right at the very end it comes up with error message " Does not recognise file " & does not upload them ,

CAN ANY BODY HELP ?

But you need to have Digital Camera RAW Compatibility Update 3.12 installed.
