Help getting an older version of Ibooks. I recently update my itunes so it doesnt appear the option; "Dowload the last current version". My IOS ver. is 6.1.6

I was trying to find a way to erase the cache of my ibooks, but since there isn't an option, i think that deleting the app and then re-downloading would do the trick.
But, in my way to do so (after i deleted the app), i found a lot troubles, for insteance i wasn't able to connect to the appstore since my itunes ver. was too old, -i updated it- but when i do so, [in my app tab] it doesnt appeared any app at all . Even when i try to download from my ipod it doesn't work since my IOS ver. is 6.1.6, and the app needs 7.0. So, it's there a manual option to "just drag the .ipa" into a folder, or something like that?
😢
Thank you in advance.

iPod touch, iOS 6.1.6

How exactly are you trying to download it ? You can only download an older version of the app directly on the iPod via the Purchased tab in its App Store app, you can't download it on a computer's iTunes.

Not sure what you mean by 'just drag the .ipa into a folder or something like that', but if you have the older version of the app somewhere on your computer or backup of your downloads/library then you can delete the current version of the app from your computer's iTunes library (if it's in your library) by selecting/highlighting it and pressing the delete button on your keyboard, and add the old version via File > Add To Library or by dragging-and-dropping it into iTunes so that you can sync it to your iPod.

By Itunes, i was mean the program not the app [sorry about the confusion], and indeed i do have an older version [2.1] when i add it a text box indicates that im about to replace my actual ver with an older, so now i got ibooks ver 2.1 in my library, but now when im trying to sync it failed to install the app.}
Thank you for your response

The older version that i got it's from a google doc. that i found on a website [since i wasn't able to got an older ver. of my own]

You won't be able to use that version from Google docs. It will not run. Besides, it is likely hacked and will simply send all your personal info to someone.

You don't sync an older version from iTunes to your iPhone.

You need to download it from the App store directly on your iPhone.
