How to stop Apple TV from changing sort order on photos from iPhoto

This relates to the order that photos are shown on Apple TV. When photos are moved via iTunes Home Sharing from iPhoto to view on a TV, the exact order is lost when they arrive at the Apple TV. When photos are arranged in a particular order (I prefer to manually sort the photos in Albums) in iPhoto, they should STAY in that order for presentation on Apple TV. It seems that Apple TV is programmed to unwaveringly present the photos in chronological order regardless of how I want them sorted. I understand that for Events, in which that's the only way. But the purpose of Albums (to me) is to allow manual or other sort methods to create a storyline or presentation that in meaningful for you. Without that support, Apple TV becomes unacceptable for Slide Shows.

At this time, I'm using a second generation Apple TV with current software, iPhoto 9.5.1, iTunes 12.2.0.145, on a late-2009 iMac running OS X 10.9.5.

I've tried Restarting Apple TV & rebooting my iMac. The router is working since I can get the photos, just not in correct order. I've seen this complaint many times online but never a solution that works. Thanks for any help out there.

Think I apparently solved my own problem. I Repaired my iPhoto Library. Then quit and reloaded iTunes. All Albums then appeared properly in iTunes and displayed properly on Apple TV. The slideshow on Apple TV presented the photos in the same sort order as in iPhoto. I do sort them manually in Albums. I believe that may allow Apple TV to keep the order rather than move them to chronological. Hope this may help someone.
