iPad 2, after updating to iOS 8.4, the Sleep/Wake button and the home button have stopped working.

Sigh. 3rd problem of the day

Apparently I have successfully upgraded from iOS 4 to iOS 8.4 on my iPad2

However, another problem appears

I cannot use the home button, nor the sleep/wake button for some reason.
