Q: how do we display 4k movies made from whatever

It appears the only way to make a real 4k movie in Apple, is with Final Cut Pro X. However, once made, how does one display them? like in iMovie Theater.

The Apple TV will not handle really high quality videos. iTunes appears to reject them. How is done?

YYou play it out if your computer to HDMI, or you deliver it to the DCP system that will use it.

I guess I did not ask a precise question.

I want people who visit us at home to be able to look at home movies, or for us to show them from time to time. iMovie theater does that. But one has to go into the program, meaning  you need to understand that program, which most people do not, and it does not project 4K video. Apple TV offered a solution but does not do 4K.

It appears there is a big missing interface between high end FCP 4K movies and old standby for playing movies.

I don't need work arounds. I want an elegant appealing way to share 4K movies.

You open the file in the QuickTime player and put the output on an 4K capable display. Really? That's too hard?
