ssh port 22: Connection refused

Hi everyone,

I have upgrade my mac to version 10.10.3 (Yosemite) and since then I cannot access a remote machine using ssh. If I type :

ssh xxxx@xxx.xxx.xxx.xx -vvv

OpenSSH_6.2p2, OSSLShim 0.9.8r 8 Dec 2011

debug1: Reading configuration data /etc/ssh_config

debug1: /etc/ssh_config line 20: Applying options for *

debug2: ssh_connect: needpriv 0

debug1: Connecting to xxx.xxx.xxx.xx [xxx.xxx.xxx.xx] port 22.

debug1: connect to address xxx.xxx.xxx.xx port 22: Connection refused

ssh: connect to host xxx.xxx.xxx.xx port 22: Connection refused

I have tried to do this:

system preference > sharing > abilitate remote access

I have also checked that the firewall is off

But I still cannot access the remote machine. Does anyone have any idea on how to solve this problem?

Thanks

F.
