Jul 15, 2015 11:29 AM in response to Giordano56by Tom Wolsky,This does not include any information about your graphics card. In the same window that produced this in the sidebar on the left is a section on Graphics/Displays. Post a screen shot of that.

Jul 16, 2015 6:36 AM in response to Giordano56by Luis Sequeira1,Your iMac seems to be a 2007 model. According to MacTracker, these had at most 256MB of VRAM (128MB in the base model). Either way, not suitable for today's heavily GPU-dependent software.

Jul 16, 2015 6:55 AM in response to Giordano56by Russ H,Your Mac's card is the ATI 2600 PRO, which is not Open CL compatible (as the message indicated) doesn't support FCP X. In one way it's fortunate that it cannot be installed. As Luis indicated, the application really requires a strong GPU. So if you had been able to install it, for sure the performance would be so bad that you would have felt as though you had wasted $300.
