How can I manually choose what playlists I want on my iPhone with iCloud music library activated?

How can I manually choose what playlists I want on my iPhone with iCloud music library activated? It looks as if I've lost that ability the moment I turned on my iCloud music library to try out iMusic.

All of my playlist in iTunes are automatically put on my iPhone. This is a problem because my music is using up more space on my phone than I want.

Any help would be appreciated.

Simple answer - no. The "purpose" is to sync all your Playlists between all your computers and devices.

HOWEVER, you might be misunderstanding what the syncing of the Playlists means on your iPhone. What you see are only the actual playlists BUT the actual music files are not "synced" to your iPhone or other iOS device. If you play the playlist, the music will be streamed from Apple Music either via Wifi or cellular connection. If you wish to have the files ON your iPhone, you have to select a playlist, tap the little "three dot" symbol and select "Make Available Offline". That will then start a download of the songs in the playlist. Until that point, there are no music files on your iPhone.

Hmm, well the songs I own that are in my playlists are being placed on my phone no matter what when my phone is synced. The songs that I've been adding that are apart of my iMusic subscription are only added if I make them available offline like you said. The only way my phone won't add my purchased music in my playlists is if I delete the playlist.
