So, i have Yosemite 10.10.4 but I don't have iMovie. and the update isn't on my App Store. plus I'm not paying for apple's ridiculous pricing for iMovie i just want it for the new yosemite cause i need it to edit my videos and i won't pay for it as i mentioned earlier! 😟

iMovie isn't a part of OS X.
To get a newer version you need to purchase it.

I have an early 2011 MBP, and I did not find iMovie in my mac too. I was gonna purchase it on App store for 14.99, and instead, the app store told me that I had the previous iMovie version, I am able just to download it without payment.

Yes it's a free upgrade if you already have version 9 under your Apple ID.
If you have versions earlier than 9 or none at all you have to pay.
If you buy a new Mac you get iMovie 10 for free when you register it under you Apple ID.
