Finally found a workaround.

1. Open the whatsapp chat.

2. Tap the name and view media.

3. Select all photos (150 at a time would be good)

4. Tab the share arrow.

5. Tap iCloud Photo Share.

6. Share it to your email and Post.

6a. Deselect and repeat sharing till all photos shared.

7. Deselect and go to Photos app on your iPhone.

8. At the bottom, tap Shared.

9. Open the album you created and shared.

10a. Select all. Tap the sharing arrow. Tap save all. Connect phone to comp and take photos.

10b. Alternatively, install iCloud Photo from apple on comp. And sync the shared photos. View the containing folder...all your snaps are there.

11. Done. Till Apple gives us a better solution.

Caught by your interesting question: "transfer 1000+ whatsapp pictures to camera roll", if there is one 1-click solution, would be awesome!

I searched this question, and igeeksblog posted how to save whatsapp pictures to iphone, but it just what you have done. There is no direct way to 1-click save all whatsapp pictures to camera roll.

You can try extract all of your Whatsapp pictures out to computer and then sync them to your iPhone with iTunes. I searched "best iphone extractor" and found many of them should be paid....

I will keep searching !

No free way available to make it!

Find one post about how to backup iphone whatsapp to computer, provide tool to scan ur whatsapp msgs with attachs and transfer to pc. Posted screenshots showed msg pics, maybe it could 1-click export all pics out to computer. But not free tool (only free to scan).

1000+ pics seems too many....just try & try
