Q: What has happened to iTunes Match?

All my media is greyed out and iTunes Match seems to have disappeared from iTunes on my MacBook Pro Retina. What am I missing here? Everything is up to date. I seem to be able to access my music on my iPhone, but on my laptop I can't. Please help?

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Yosemite (10.10), iTunes Match

I've been troubleshooting this very issue on two of my Macs.  Some tracks are greyed out while my upload of a few songs to my iTunes Match cloud was unsuccessful. However I was able to upload a few songs on Sunday. Having been an iTunes match user since 2012, I haven't ever seen this. Try and be patient and don't make any drastic adjustments as all signs point to this being a server related issue with Apple. This is exactly what I have heard from other users. Try it every few days to see if it changes and it won't hurt to sign out using your Apple ID and then sign in again. I'm noticing a huge increase of iTunes Match subscribors not related to the new Apple Music service which has also increased activity. I wouldn't be surprised if the Apple Music release sparked an interest in iTunes Match.

    Hi,

It seems to have solved itself for me. Really weird. I hope yours sorts itself out too. Thanks for the tip!
