Iphone 5s 64 gb ios 8.4 real storage...

IM wondering since my last update ios 8.4 my iphone 64 gb just become 55 gb how was that. Does the next update will ate my storage?

It is not eating your storage. It has always had about that much memory.

Then why apple dont use same system to read the storage of the phone.. if they put 64 gb in the phone and read it as base(10) why they put in the system of the phone to read is base (2) instead of base(10) Also
