I have 2 Download folders in my Dock

I have 2 Download folders I'm my dock, one which is the preferred blue folder and the other is a "pile" of things I have downloaded. Unfortunately, the most recent items that I have downloaded are in the"pile" folder, while older ones are in the correct blue download folder. Have I inadvertently redirected my downloads to a new folder?

I have a brand new iMac 5K with an i7processor using OS X 10.10.4, but I used the Migration Assistant to copy everything from my old iMac. The problem did exist on my old iMac as well. Any suggestions??
