Why has the Apple Watch Modern Buckle been "unavailable" for so long? ****** me off I couldn't get that band with the black watch, without the sport band.

Why has the Apple Watch Modern Buckle been "unavailable" for long? Have they discontinued that band; is it on back order, if so why aren't they giving us an estimated waiting time?

It really ****** me off they won't let you custom order the watch and band combo you really want. It's insulting. I don't like to be treated as a "mass" )as in offering the masses many pre-ordained choices).

While the Apple Watch has served my purpose for getting this first half baked edition, it isn't exactly up to the standard I've expected from Apple...and if they mess with my iTunes on my phone I might throw out all 5 of my Apple devices and look elsewhere.

If you have no knowledge as to the cause of the shortage of the modern buckle, potential problems with the mechanism, or news that would be helpful -

Wow, the patent for the Modern Buckle closer was only approved in May , I think. Any way my guess that's the reason that band hasn't shipped yet. I have a couple of bands but would like one of those when ship. I was careful to order my stainless steel watch with a white sport band so it would ship quickly.
