when importing to iPad Air using the camera connection kit the thumbnails are slow to load (compared to when I had iPhoto) and there is no option to skip duplicates. The import function used to work well before apple changed from iPhoto to Photos, the thumbnails loaded quickly and previously imported photos were always detected and I had the option to skip duplicates. With Photos, import has become slow and cumbersome and does not detect duplicates. Is there anyway to fix this?
