I tried converting .wmv files through Compressor using an old version of FlipMac for an FCP 7 edit. Besides the watermark and $30 demand to upgrade, the video seemed to have interlace issues. Is there a fix for this or a better conversion program?

Blame the cost of Flip4Mac on Microsoft's licensing fees for WMV.

It would help to know what the WMV's frame rate, interlacing/progressive, frame size, etc settings were as well as what you used for settings in the conversion.

Thanks. A friend just sent me the files converted with iSkysoft (?) and after converting those to ProRes 422 via Compressor, that seems to do the trick.
