Want to Archive iPhone Backups in iTunes
Where is the backup?
Windows Vista or Windows 7/8.1:
\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\
Replace USERNAME with your personal account name.

Jul 10, 2015 3:43 PM in response to Wesleydnby Azrael_Rose,You can also skip a bunch of clicking (and trying to remember your actual username if you have windows set to display your "full name" at login instead) by using %AppData% in the file browser, instead of everything up to and including Roaming, as in:
%AppData%\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\

Jul 15, 2015 10:19 PM in response to Wesleydnby Tjax83,So the purpose of renaming the "backup" folder is so that iTunes wont see it now and thus not touch the data in there? thanks

Jul 19, 2015 5:58 PM in response to Tjax83by mikemey,★HelpfulSo the instructions for the beta regarding backups are pretty useless. Yeah I get that copying the folder then, if things hose themselves, copying it back makes sense, but why include the "ctrl-click" the backup and not specify that it's for Mac only?
Come on Apple, you're better than that.
