Can I use my iMac 2007 as screen for Mac mini?

Helo!

I have Imac 2007 (Black back) fully working and upgraded by myself however I still not happy about the processor or the graphics card. I thought that if I buy Mac mini it would be a good Idea as it new and better. So can I connect my iMac 2007 and use it as a screen for Mac mini? (No screen sharing or second screen) I have Mini-DVI Port, FireWire400 port, FireWire800 port or do I need to buy something else?

Thank you,

Please answer in easy English as my English is bad.
