When I plugin my earphones the sound did not came out of the earphones but instead it came out of the device's internal speaker. May I know the way to fix it?

Can anyone please tell me why does the sound doesn't come out of the earphones that is well plugged in the earphone jack, instead the sound came out out from the device's internal speakers?

Check the earphone jack for debris - dust, lint, etc. You may need to clean it out with compressed air or a toothpick.
