OS X Yosemite: If you forget your login password


OS X Mavericks: If you forget your login password


OS X Mountain Lion: If you forget your login password


OS X: Changing or resetting an account password < v10.6 Snow Leopard or earlier


You may be able to reset your admin password using your Apple ID > OS X: Apple ID can be used to reset your user account password - Apple Support
