Jul 10, 2015 3:11 PM in response to Eric Rootby Therapy Pig,I did try, but the computer doesn't recognize the camera connected on usb-port and likewise the camera doesn't find the computer. I have bought two new usb cables and both do charge the camera but do not communicate with the computer. I have also tested with an other compare, but however it was also a mac with Yosemite as operating system. Maybe I should try to connect it on a pc...

Jul 10, 2015 4:06 PM in response to Therapy Pigby Old Toad,Yosemite has caused a number of camera models to not be recognized by either iPhoto, Photos or the system. However, any camera with a removable memory card can be used by using a card reader. One can get a inexpensive card reader that will plub into a USB port for downloading image files from memory cards.
