Q: If I try to delete contacts on my old IPad it deletes them on my new IPad.  What can I do to stop this?

How do I unsync my old IPad with my new IPad? When I delete contacts on the old IPad it deletes them in Contacts on my new IPad.

iPad Air, iOS 8.3

Hello AGL12Ana,

 

After reviewing your post, it sounds like you have two iOS devices connected on the same Apple ID. Since you are deleting from one device, those changes on the Apple ID are carrying over to the other device. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help the issue.

 

You can sign out on the old device or sign in with a different Apple ID on the old device.
