How do I connect ipad to smartboard or optional display

Use apple tv and airplay to mirror the ipad to the apple TV connect the apple tv to the screen

or install software on your laptop like airserver which mimics an appletv,connect the laptop to the screen

the ipad must be connected to the same network and the laptop or appletv

Enable mirroring on the ipad, if you've done everything correctly the ipad display will appear

on whatever screen is connected to the device you've chosen to use (apple TV/Laptop)

Airserver had educational pricing I'm not sure if that's still the case

You can get a VGA or hdmi adapter that will connect to your ipad and allow you to display your ipad

Hi Jan,

The teachers in our school district use software on their computers called Reflector. When you launch Reflector, you can AirPlay the iPad display to the computer. The computers are always connected to the projector so the display will show on the smart board.
