Use an external optical drive such as Apple's USB SuperDrive, or one inside another computer.

You need to purchase an external CD drive - or one of Apple's external Super USB drive.

Your other option is to have someone that has a CD Drive rip the CD to their computer and then copy the resulting files to a flash USB drive, which you can then use to copy to your own iMac.

If you follow either of the above suggestions and you have lots of storage space on your computer, I suggest ripping the CDs to Apple Lossless format. It's a compressed form of song file format, but there is zero loss of audio quality, so your songs are exactly the same as what's on the CD, but in slightly smaller files (as opposed to AIFF, which would be very large files). Once you've encoded the CDs on your Mac, you can always export them to another format, but at least you'll never have to re-rip them to get better audio quality.

I did this to my entire CD collection to replace a lot of high bit rate MP3s. The difference in quality is slight, but noticeable (on a good sound system) and the files are quite large, but I check the "Convert higher bit rate songs to ..." option for each of my mobile devices to keep the size of the music library in check when using my iPhone or iPod.
