Q: Apple Pay, Watch and iPhone 5S Question

No problem setting up Apple Pay with my iPhone 5S and Apple Watch. It worked in the Apple Store. But tried at a Walgreens where the machine recognizes Apple Pay. The Watch responds with a signal as expected, but the transaction fails. The store personnel said it worked with other's iPhones, but not with the Watch. Is this a problem with the Watch or the Walgreens equipment. Have others experienced this problem?

See "Pay with your Apple Watch" here. Does that describe how you are using (positioning) your Apple Watch?

Everything on the Apple Watch support was followed by me, and was correct. Indeed the Watch worked well for a purchase at the local Apple Store. And I have only tried it at Walgreens so far. And I did get the tone and haptic as expected, but the terminal did not recognize any transaction.

My Apple Watch has worked with Apple Pay just fine, although I have never used it at Walgreen's as I go there perhaps once a year.
