MacBook Air after login white screen appears!

Using MacBook Air start up occurs, disk is fully notification appears. However once logged in a white screen appears instead of desktop screen, how do you fix this problem?

Disk is full means there's not enough free store space on your Mac's hard drive.


Since you can't boot to the desktop, you can boot in Safe Mode so you can delete data to free up storage.



Top left corner of your screen click the Apple  > Shut Down.


After your Mac shuts down, wait 10 seconds, then press the power button.


Immediately after you hear the startup tone, hold down the Shift key. You should press the Shift key as soon as possible after you hear the startup tone, but not before.


Release the Shift key when you see the gray Apple logo and progress indicator.

A Safe Mode boot can take longer than a normal boot so be patient. When you are done deleting data, go back to the Apple menu. From the drop down menu click: Restart


Make sure there's at least 15% free disk space. OS X Tips Where did my Disk Space go?
