How to install Windows on MacBook Pro Late 2011 (15 inch) model if my built-in Optical drive has stopped working?

Sir,

I have MacBook Pro Late 2011 (15 inch) model. My internal optical drive has stopped working and for some important reason I need to install Windows on my MacBook. Since my built-in optical drive isn't working, can I use bootable USB flash drive to install Windows?

My system info is as follows :

Model Identifier: MacBookPro8,2

Processor Name: Intel Core i7

Processor Speed: 2.2GHz

Number of Processors: 1

Number of Cores: 4

Memory: 4GB

You can install Windows using a virtual Machine like Parallels, Fusion, or VirtualBox. You need the optical drive if installing Windows using Boot Camp.
