Follow up email for AppleCare Phone Support but never called?

I got the following email from "AppleSupport@InsideApple.Apple.com" today at 12:49PM.User uploaded file

I never called in and was away on vacation during the time of receiving this email. Is it possible that someone got my account information from logging into my AppleID at a hotel? Any help as to what this email is would be great, thanks.

It is a scam mail. Report it to Apple as a phishing attempt. Then delete it.

Also, next time there is any doubt in your mind, you can deduce that the critical links are not to Apple by simply hovering your cursor over the link.

Hover over this one and see how easily it can be spoofed > https://www.apple.com/

If the URL does not have " apple.com " as the END of the domain name - e.g., " blahblah.apple.com/blahblahblah/......... " it is not from Apple

Apple will also ALWAYS address you by your first name - like " Hello Joe "

your username is not all that secure so even Hello Joe is suspect in your case, so never believe anything!!
