Jul 11, 2015 12:57 AM in response to Joe_Scottoby seventy one,It is a scam mail. Report it to Apple as a phishing attempt. Then delete it.
Some notes to read. https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT204759

Jul 11, 2015 2:51 PM in response to Joe_Scottoby ChitlinsCC,Also, next time there is any doubt in your mind, you can deduce that the critical links are not to Apple by simply hovering your cursor over the link.
Hover over this one and see how easily it can be spoofed > https://www.apple.com/
If the URL does not have " apple.com " as the END of the domain name - e.g., " blahblah.apple.com/blahblahblah/......... " it is not from Apple
Apple will also ALWAYS address you by your first name - like " Hello Joe "
your username is not all that secure so even Hello Joe is suspect in your case, so never believe anything!!

Jun 17, 2016 10:38 AM in response to sen19by ChitlinsCC,To be clear...
You did NOT talk to Apple today but DID get an email that the call indeed occurred?
OR
No call but an EARLIER email the call WOULD occur today?
