how can I update my macbook 2011 if this is showing up The digital signature on the update is missing or invalid. The update may have been tampered with since being signed by Apple. The update will be downloaded and checked again the next time that Software Update runs." how can i fix this?? pls help me.

    What update? There is no update to 10.6.8. To upgrade your operating system you have to buy it.

    i mean my macbook is already updated into 10.6.8 how can i update my macbook to the latest version?

    cause its always popping up and it says "Software updates are available for your computer. Do you want to download and install them?"

    then after i clicked continue and then install, this pops up "The update “MacBook SMC Firmware Update” can’t be saved." with this below it

    It would appear your Boot ROM version is different.  Use the link above for 1.60f6 to upgrade your firmware.
