Wondering why I can't use the search feature on in the Finder to find all my videos at once. Or why there isn't a video tab in the photos along the top with other menus.

I am using my new MacBook Pro but I can't seem to get rid of the Dell thing (still have a dell but not using it at this moment.) I am very frustrated with my Macbook pro which is reported to be so easy but is bringing me to tears every time I try to do something.
Thanks Guys, but my finder sidebar doesn't look like that. I must have the finder misconfigured. It doesn't even list "photos" just pictures and there are no submenus. After reading these two messages I tried to figure out how to reconfigure it, tried sliding my photo icon up into the sidebar but that didn't work. I have a lesson coming "one-to-One" in two weeks, but I just don't get why I can't figure this out. Had a mac years ago and it was so easy.
I am currently trying to import videos from my phone though it is taking me a long time. I can't tell how far along it is unless its the slide bar in the upper left had corner. All this makes me feel so stupid.
If the videos are in Photos, open the side bar and click Video.
Photos>View>Sidebar
No need to search.
Select Movies in the Sidebar on any Finder window.
That is not the Finder sidebar, it is the Photos sidebar
