Q: How to set Display Settings from iMac vs MacPro after cloning?
Hi,
I recently lost the use of a Software App after a power outage. The App was left open and on pause while the Mac was on Sleep mode and after the power outage, the MacPro needed a reboot and the App would no longer open. I tried looking for the installation CD but could not since it was lost in my recent move.
I proceeded to use Super Duper to clone my iMac to clone it onto a spare internal HDD in the MacPro since it also had the App I needed. After it was done and I booted into the newly created OS on the spare HDD, I noticed that the icons all look bigger since the iMac screen is lager (its resolution is higher) than my MacPro monitor.
Display settings for the iMac is 1920 x 1080 vs MacPro monitor is 1680 x 1050.
I tried modifying the settings in the cloned OS via the spare HDD but they are already on 1680 x 1050 but the icons still look bigger and when I open App pages, they are bigger than normal.
Does anyone have a solution?
Rio.
