Thank you for the quick response, but why does it say on the box only 1 GB, and so it's written in settings?

The system RAM that Niel mentions in his post and assumedly what you were asking about has never been printed on the box as far as I know. Are you maybe speaking of something else? I feel quite positive in stating the Niel used other means available to state the correct value, and didn't use something printed on the box. It has also never been "written" anywhere in "Settings".
Looking at my iPad mini 2 box, the only place on the box I can see "1 GB" is under the description of the method that Apple uses to state the calculated storage space of the device:
Apple states:
1GB = 1 billion bytes; actual formatted capacity less.
