how do i reduce the resolution on a monitor with HDMI?

I recently purchased two 25 inch monitors for my 2013 Mac Mini. I hooked one up to the DVI and the other to the HDMI.

I have noticed that the monitor with HDMI is at a larger resolution that the DVI. Its not much but it does make a difference.

Is there someway I can match the resolution on both monitors?

Hello bluntedge,

From your post I see you're concerned about the display resolution with your multiple external displays. For help with selecting the display resolution, please see the information in the article below for how your displays are configured.
