I am trying to make my computer recognize my IPOD Touch 5g when plugged in thru the usb cord. When I plug it in it is not listed in the sidebar when i go to "My Computer". It will be recognized in ITUNES and will sync but it wont show up on my computer. It is all updated included all drive updates. I want to find the photos folder when connected to computer so i can just drag them but my computer doesnt show an IPOD HELPPPPP
Its not that. Any program will recognized when my ipod is plugged in and i can do it thru there but i want it to be detected by my computer hardware. I read you have to click something on itunes for it to be recognized. My screen is cracked and its glitching so thats why i want the files specifically found in the IPOD TOuch's folder. Sorry for leaving that part out
DOES THE IPOD HAVE TO BE UNLOCKED???? IF SO I CANT SINCE MY SCREEN IS CRACKED AND IT WONT LET ME SLIDE THE START SCREEN......
Yes. it is that. You said iTunes sees the iPod and you can sync and thus the computer already "trusts" the iPod.
Did it appear in My coputer before?
Have you installed any camera or scanning software?
