I noticed today when I updated to the latest itunes Version for Windows. There was a New collum with a Heart and when I put my cursor over it the word LOVE showed up. I have no idea what the Point of this new option is for

It's associated with Apple Music, and intended to be used by those who wish their choice of music to be determined by Apple's algorithms. You can remove it from any columnar views (right-click > deselect) and from most other parts of the UI by setting Edit > Preferences > General > Ratings to Stars.
