Q: Slow Boot Up 10.10.4 OSX

Dear All,

I would like to ask some help from the community about my problem. Mac Book Pro Mid 2012

with 8GB of Ram and 2.9Ghz

1. Slow Boot Up ( Got Loading Bar )

1.a Repair the disk using the utility

1.b Reinstall the OS to New One

1.c Tried to make a apple hardware test ( but it always goes to internet Recovery and got issue which is -510D

all the basic trouble shooting is already done,

any suggestion how to solve the issue ?

highly appreciated if you can suggest me any solution to the problem.

Your mid-2012 has a FW800/TB/USB port. Please use OS X: Installing OS X on an external volume - Apple Support and test boot speeds. A TB disk is recommended because it is the fastest. Once booted, you can use AHT and other tools to access diagnostics?

Is your internal disk the stock HDD or a flash disk - Reference - MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2012) - Technical Specifications ?

Was 10.10.4 a separate installation or an upgrade to a previous version of OS X ? What events took place before the speed of Boot became acceptable? There have been recent EFI updates. Mac EFI Security Update 2015-001

EtreCheck is useful despite many misgivings that ASC members may have about it.
