Okay so I have a quick question. I have an iPhone 5 but my charger was lost/stolen so I bought an Apple iPhone 4 charger and an iPhone 5 adapter for the cable but it heats my phone and charges slowly. Will Apple replace my iPhone 4 charger and adapter for an iPhone 5 lightning cable?

They have a one year warranty if you purchased them from Apple. Make an appointment at the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store.
That combination should work if you also use an Apple wall USB adapter.
