Q: iMessage Sync
I am aware that there is a discussion out there about iMessage not in sync between iMac, iPad, iPhone, MacBook Pro. The discussion is aged (2 years or more) and looking at the various posts and replies I cannot determine if a solution was ever achieved
Does anyone know if iMessage synchronisation was achieved OR are the delays and problems relating to messages being out of order still the status quo?
I need iMessage to synch between my iMacs and MacBook Pro's to assist the smooth running of my business. But at this stage it seems that Apple are perpetuating a dud function...or perhaps it is me not using the function correctly
OS X Yosemite 10.10.4 is on all machines
Your feedback will be greatly appreciated
Thanks

Hi,
Messages on Mac and iPhone will sync in Yosemite.
Check first that the iPhone and Mac are Syncing the Contacts List.
Preferably in the Contacts app > Preferences > Accounts have only one method active (i.e iCloud or Google but not both).
Next check the iPhone > Settings > Messages > Send and Receive.
This should list the iPhone Number but it should be greyed out and ticked (As well as the Apple ID)
If the Number is Unticked then syncing will break down after a while as the Number becomes de-registered.
If this is the case remove the Apple ID (Sign Out) and place the iPhone In Airplane Mode (it breaks with the server).
On going back to the settings allow the Number to Verify.
Add the Apple ID back.
Accept the pop ups on the Mac about the iPhone (restart the app if you don't see them)
If people are messaging you to iPhone Number and the Apple ID have Receive At on the Mac showing both.
Same for the Send and Receive on the iPhone.
