My mac pro does not recognise my iPhone 6 plus camera when I plug it in. Why???
My phone & computer software are up to date. I have tried a different lightning cable
and I have tried my iPhone 5s as well. Still says the same thing,
iPhone 6 Plus, OS X Yosemite (10.10.4)
What do you mean recognize the phone's camera?
You also said "Still says the same thing," That implies yo are getting a message? If yo are getting a message what does it say?

are you trying to use your iphone 5 plus camera as a standalone camera?
usually what happens, at least from what I understand, is that your iphone 6 (or 5s or 4) camera takes a picture, or a video, after it's done it shows up in either photos on your iphone or camera roll again on the iphone. usually when you plug your iphone into your mac, photos opens up and you can import the photos/video/whatever to your mac. this may be turned off in photos...I think you can do this

Sorry everyone i didn't explain it well at all!!!
When i connect my phone to my Mac it comes up with a Message "NO CAMERA FOUND '
All I'm doing is plugging it into my USB .............
All I'm trying to do is connect my phone to my Mac to download all my photos it wont let me because it says no camera found !

Does iTunes see the iPod?
ALL FIXED thank you my mac was confused with my iPhone & my external camera. When i plugged in my iPhone it thought it was my Canon camera
a few clicks in my settings & its all fixed THANK YOU
