Yes in fact mine is also Late 2011. Seems same problem. Any luck with resolution ?
Hi, sorry for long response, but right now my mac get totally crashed, it even doesn't boot properly, and it heats very heavily, seems the problem with battery or so.
Raman,
You may want to install SMC Fan Control in your machine. I have done the same today and monitoring temperature on the machine. You can increase the speed of fan using this application. I have not seen this issue happening as of now, so not sure whether this will resolve this issue or not but try to keep temperature below 50C.
Let me know what happens. Also i see in apple website advisory which i will also be calling them about this particular issue which we both are facing. You may also try and come back with your observation on the same.
Hi,
thank you for helpful advice. I've already installed the software and run it, but after some time my mac's screen become white again. So before installing the software I had 60C and 2k rpm of cooler, after 50C and 4k rpm of cooler.
So did it resolved your problem. I am running at around 5 K RPM and have not faced the same again.
No it didn't
I've found very interesting post about our issue
and one more
So the problem is in the hardware. I've brought my mac to apple service center and they've told me that the logic board is broken.
But before it had broken I had the same symptoms as in the links above.
Right now I have no clue what to do, the service center asks me 1000$ for logic board replacement.
