Q: MacMini will not go into sleep mode

My Mac Mini with OS X, 10.7.5 will not enter into the sleep mode. It remains warm, and the indicator light stays on, on both the computer itself and the back-up portable drive.

Mac mini, Mac OS X (10.7.5)
