Q: How to get help with purchase failures?

Hello

 

I have had good success using Apple Pay in store but much more mixed results using it in App's. I had issues with the Best Buy app, said there was an problem with my contact details. I never did resolve that one. Then today I tried to use Apple Pay in the Etsy app and I got a shipping address fail.

 

My question is how do I get help with these failures as there is little to no indication of what the actual issue is? In both cases my information was correct, very frustrating.

 

I love Apple Pay but using it, especially in App, can be frustrating as more often than not I'm not able to complete the transaction.

    I suspect the issue is with the service provider handling the payments to the supplier - Worldly or Visa or whoever. Which doesn't help much.

     

    You could contact Apple support - they might be able to give some guidance. Also, I'd contact customer support at the supplier - you'd hope that they'd care about lost sales due to inability to pay

    I did report it to the vendor, Etsy, but so far no resolution.

     

    I  would report to Apple but thier support doesn't seem to cover via email.
