Q: icloud is not updating all my photos

When I look at my camera roll, it says "Wi-Fi required - 297 photos to upload" to my iCloud.I back up to my iCloud overnight each night and for some reason it has stopped backing up my photos over the last few months it seems. Any advice?

iPhone 5s, iOS 8.4

    Hello

If you want to use the cell data for this

    First I would check

               Setting  >  Cellular

Make sure photos is turned on.

    Next

    I'd check

You will want to check and see which you are using.

My Photo Stream FAQ - Apple Support

    or

iCloud Photo Library FAQ - Apple Support

The photos can be included in the backup but if your using the Library they will not be.

    Best of Luck

    Hello,

when transferring to my iPhone 6 from iPhone 5, I've selected "backup from Cloud" when starting my phone. Everything synced OK (contacts, messages, apps etc.) but my photos. They are shown in Photos and are counted on the end, but there is nothing there. They are all grey and I cannot open them.

Strange thing is that i signed in to iCloud (via internet) and the pictures couldn't be seen there either (the same thing). I was very frustrated so I deleted all pictures on web page. After that I restarted my iPhone and started again as the first time I bought it. At first, it has shown 0 pictures and 0 videos but, after few minutes, when I opened the app, everything was the same - there vas over 700 photos counted but not one of them could be seen. ????

I'm so confused. I even asked personnel in iStyle store and they couldn't figure out what was happening and were are those 700 photos.

I've inserted snapshots so you can see what it looks like.

I'm trying to get Apple Support but it's just not possible. They do not have call waiting so it's always busy

Btw, these 5 photos you can see are new and taken with iPhone 6. Sorry for large images.
