lookup gesture not working in ibooks

recently updated my Air to Yosemite 10.10.4, while everything seems to be working fine, there's one glitch i've noticed -

the three finger look-up gesture isn't working on ibooks (it works fine in other apps).

Anyone noticed the same? or do i have to do some configs?
