How does one vary the quality of an image sent by Mail from Photos? It was simple in iPhoto. Can images sent by Mail from Photos be organized sequentially up and down as they were in iPhoto rather than side by side

Create an album from your photos and arrange them in the order you want, before you share the photos to Mail. The photos will appear in the Mail form in the order you manually dragged them in the album.
The Mail message window has a pop up menu for the size.
Did as you suggested by creating and album but images still appeared side by side when shared in mail. Was able to select size as you indicated. Thanks.
If you select a large size the photos will appear from on top of each other.
And you can try to insert spaces and linefeeds after each image. You can use the arrow keys to navigate between the embedded, attached photos and if you manage to move the insertion point between two images insert a space character by hitting the spacebar and then enter.
Or use one of the photos templates from the Mail stationary and use the option to include the original photos.
Selecting the large size provided the sequence I desired. Made a note of the insertion points in the event that my mail message is too large to send. Merci beaucoup et bonne journey.
