MacbookPro Bluetooth Won't Connect to Bluebuds, Drops Magic Mouse

I'm curious if there is a known issue with the new MacBook Pro bluetooth. Not only will my brand spanking new and very expensive MacBook Pro with Retina display not pair with my less than a year old Jaybird Bluebuds, but the bluetooth connection with the Apple Magic Mouse drops incessantly and it's driving me bats.
